Product Introduction
YTTW stands for Flexible Fire-Resistant Metal Sheathed Inorganic Mineral Insulated Cable, a new type of fire-resistant cable with excellent fire resistance and good mechanical properties.
The main features of YTTW cables are as follows:
1. Structural Characteristics: The conductor of YTTW cables uses multi-strand copper stranded wire, which has good bending properties. The insulation layer is made of high-temperature resistant, non-flammable inorganic mineral insulation material. The copper sheath, after special processing, has good bending properties and can be used as a PE line. The outer sheath is made of low-smoke, harmless plastic material with good corrosion resistance.
2. Performance Advantages: YTTW cables have excellent fire resistance, capable of burning for more than 3 hours at 950°C and withstanding water spray and mechanical impact during combustion. Additionally, they have long continuous length (up to over 1000m), large cross-section, good flexibility, smokeless and non-toxic when burning, high overload capacity, and long service life.
3. Application Places: YTTW cables are widely used in power supply lines for critical facilities such as fire alarm systems, fire-fighting equipment, emergency power supplies, and safety evacuation systems in important locations like high-rise buildings, subways, tunnels, and petrochemical industries.
4. Economic Considerations: Although YTTW cables use more copper raw materials, leading to relatively higher costs, their advanced manufacturing process and simple installation result in lower comprehensive costs compared to mineral insulated cables under the same conditions.
5. It should be noted that YTTW cables also have some disadvantages, such as easy cracking of corrugated copper tube welds, single mica insulation, excessive weight of multi-core cables, and lower impact resistance than BTTZ fire-resistant cables.
